Denmark - Day 14 - Shopping in Copenhagen

After some much needed rest and relaxation, we geared up for a day trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, but not before Ingrid made me pose like the Japanese warrior pictured behind me.

As you can see, I was enthusiastic about our trip to Denmark.

We picked up a quick breakfast at a coffee shop just outside the train station and hung out until our train was scheduled to arrive.

It was a lovely day for traveling and we were ready to go. Ingrid had been geared up to do some shopping for household goods, among other things. Not sure how we would bring any of that back, but I'm sure we'd find a way.

Like Lund, Copenhagen was cold, but luckily, Ingrid brought some heat packs she used to keep her hands warm in her pockets.

We quickly made our way to one of the main walkways which had hundreds of stores and got busy with our shopping.

As Ingrid and Evelyn tried on clothes in various stores, I wandered the streets and stumbled into this fancy corridor.

We had to fight massive crowds of people throughout the day, but had a great time seeing all the sights.

Eventually, we stopped at a restaurant for dinner, where I enjoyed a tall glass of Carlsberg beer, the local beer of choice. Mmmmm.

Ingrid still wasn't feeling 100% and did her best to avoid spreading her germs. A long day of shopping only inspired us to do more shopping on our final day, but first, some bed rest was in order.
