Celebrunch!

For Sunday brunch, we went out to Cafe del Rey to celebrate, among other things, our engagement and Shawn's paramedic certification. There are some new (and old) faces on Kevingrid in the picture above, so allow me to introduce them. From the left, you've got Shawn (my brother), Ryan (my cousin), my mom, Granny, Aunty Kimi, Aunty Ryoko (my dad's sister), Ingrid, me and Peter (my uncle).



Ryan is my only cousin and this was the first time Ingrid met him, Aunty Ryoko and Peter. It was great to see them again, and brunch was delicious. I had the Kobe burger. Mmmmm.



Granny couldn't believe the size of this dessert and after eating a full meal, her tiny stomach couldn't fit something of this magnitude.



So instead, she opted for the sorbet, which was quite tasty.



Shawn had been going to paramedic school for some time and finally competed everything needed to be certified. That's right, ladies. He's a fireman, a paramedic and he's single. Yowza! After brunch, we headed to mom's house for a minute for some coffee and tea. Thanks for coming, Granny! I love you.
