Black-Eyed Dragons

Over the weekend we held our second annual F5 Fantasy Football draft, and once again, my dad (and mom) agreed to host the event.



The standard fantasy football barbeque fare was served and Frosty worked his magic on the grill, as usual. Mmmmm... looks tasty.



Shockingly, Glady was last seasons F5 winner, but rather than sticking with his winning strategy of missing the draft and allowing others to pick his team for him, this year the defending champs (the My Little Ponies (known last season as the Unicorns)) decided to actually attend the draft and pick his own team this season. Judging by his team name selection, together with the manner in which he's sitting, something tells me his team isn't going to go very far this year.



Speaking of team names, my brother's team name this season is the Black-Eyed Dragons.... I know what you're thinking... strange name?



Well this should explain it.



As those who play fantasy football know, a draft can take hours, and ours was no exception. But despite it getting dark, we trucked along until everyone's roster was full. I'm happy with my draft selections this season and feel pretty good about my chances, but only time will tell. I think that as long as the My Little Ponies don't win again, I'll be fine.
