Birthday Pandymonium

IMG_0059

To celebrate Pandy's 30th birthday, we gathered for a quick round of 9 holes at Roosevelt. As you can tell from the picture above, Pandy (the guy kneeling in front there), rather than Andy (his alter-ego), came out that day.

We stopped to pick up some beers along the way and someone who knows Pandy's love for sausages bought him this huge one. Pandy clearly loved it.

Here's yet another example of Pandy just being himself.

As we all know, Frosty can't go for long without eating, so he squeezed in breakfast before getting stuck out on the course for a couple of hours.

Pernie and Pandy also ordered breakfast and Pandy generously shared his sausage with Pernie, as usual.

I'll spare you the details about our round, but suffice it to say that gameplay was par for the course, which unfortunately means far worse than par, but always a great time.

After golfing, Pandy decided he wanted to go to Shakey's for the all-you-can-eat buffet we frequently enjoyed back when we were kids. It turned out we were too late for the buffet, but we were just in time for some beer and a toast to Pandy's 30th birthday.

The food was as greasy and as scrumptious as I remember it being. Nothing like some greasy mojos and fried chicken to go with a couple of oily pizzas. It had been a few hours since his last feeding so Frosty couldn't wait to dive in. Look at this picture. He could barely put the pizza down long enough to put chili peppers on it.

I had to leave after lunch, but I met back up with the gang later for some late night partying... Pandy-style.

We presented Pandy with this shirt, which pretty much describes the dual personalities of our good friend. When he's Andy, he's a classy, well-mannered gentleman... but when he's Pandy, he's just plain crazy.

The back of his shirt highlighted some of the fanciful and crazy things Pandy has said over the past 30 years. We love you, Pandy. Happy 30th Birthday!
